About Patient Picks
Patient Picks covers 14 kinds of health practice across Australia, from GPs and dentists to physiotherapists and optometrists.
Many reviews show a practice many patients have used. They do not measure clinical quality, so every list shows ratings too. For registered professions, you can check a practitioner’s registration with Ahpra before you book.
Patient Picks ranks Australian health practices rated 4.0 or better by how many Google reviews they have: the practices the most patients have taken the time to review.
Patient Picks is run by the Patient Picks team and has been published since 7 October 2026. It lists 27,051 businesses in 1,597 lists, with figures as of October 2026.
Ratings, review counts and opening hours come from Google Business Profiles. The year a business started comes from its own website.
